It was a bit warmer on the peak this morning with -8 Degrees on the peak for the first Tram.  Traffic was light, but the hard corps crew that was there was stoked to be getting after it.   The grooming consistency is getting much stronger as the mat gets worked after the storm.  The off trail is beginning to develop some interference patterns as the seekers are looking for the goods further afield.  The cold has also set up the crud, so that it is quite a bit stiffer than just the other day.  The Guns are kicking out some very nice snow and the clouds from them are a bit difficult to see through at times.  At those times use more caution as variations can and do exist under the wash, so treat each Gun individually.  That will pay off.  Snow is in the forecast for the next couple of days, with precipitation beginning in the AM.  It is expected to snow through Sunday, so it will be a great time to ski the storm.  Those are some of the best powder days of the season. There is better cover now, and most of the open off trail has been worked, so any additional accumulation will make these worked lines a treat.  I think traffic will still be fairly light, so make the best of the early season slack.  Here is a shot of the East Twin that I took this morning as the Sun rose up to illuminate the Finger Chutes.  Looking a little boney.   IBBY!!
