The storm- What Storm?- came through last night, leaving only an inch of high density Essence on the dance floor. The clouds were still hanging around for the early runs, but cleared off a bit, letting some Sun shine through. It was still a bit warmer than I expected, however the temps made the new product bond to the surface from the previous days. The High North was still holding the smooth after being filled in from the wind yesterday, and reports were stellar about the new mat finish. Nice! It has been a long time since these Northern sections were big mountain smooth, so it was a treat to be able to lap the goods while they last. I missed out on these days while nursing the wing, but more is on the way. Tomorrow, look for more weather to move in, so dress for a stormy day, and take advantage of the still excellent lines the wind has provided. Whatever we get during these next few days will be sitting on some very predictable surfaces, and will let you charge with impunity. Just don’t trip over your pole and slam dunk! DOH!! Thanks to the great staff in the Snowbird Clinic who got me fixed up and on the way to recovery. The Snowbird Secrets Book Signing was held at the Forklift this afternoon, with a great turn out and incredible energy. It was a lot of fun and I want to thank every one who made it such a great time. Here is a shot of Jackson Hogen and myself after the presentation. Speed Safely!!!
