There were very fast lines prepared on all sides of the hill to start out the day. The High North was offering some dry cold chalk that was very nice and was holding up. The first hour of the day offered very crisp consistency, but the Cat Crew had done another amazing job of making the carpets smooth and consistent. Lower Primrose Path had been given the full industrial smoothing treatment, and it was awesome, coming at you without let up. The pack began to break around Noon, and there were some lines of perfect sorbet that let you dial in the deepest turns of the day.
Tomorrow, look for more prepared lines on the hill, with Mineral Basin offering the best lines for the opening bell. The front of the hill should soften around 11:00 AM and get that soft feel right when it’s ready. The coverage remains excellent and top to bottom lines are good to go. See you there for the early chairs. See the Line, BE the Line!!
