The Sun was out and the temps were a bit warmer, but there was a high thin cloud deck that made the light fairly flat on most aspects of the hill. The Grooming Crew did a great job of smoothing the main lines, with the added feature of Lower Primrose Path that offered amazing carpets of AHHHHH top to bottom and was worth a few passes to take advantage of the smooth vertical. Mineral Basin opened after Noon, and I am sure it offered a wide range of conditions as you dialed around the bowls. I left early today to get ahead of the Weekend energy.
Tomorrow, look for more possible openings, amazing carpets of AHHHHHHH on all sides of the hill, variable visibility, and strong pressure. There are lots of great lines to be put together if you look around for possible wind smoothing. More stormage is in the forecast, so get a good look at the hill for future reference.
Enjoy the smooth lines that will be offered in the AM, and get as much juice out of each turn as possible. As Joe Man The Snow Man says, ” Don’t Skimp On The Groove Sauce”!!!
