It was another powder blast day with fresh light density Essence on top of the higher density accumulation of recent days. The Untracked lines were blower and skied wonderfully, however the tracked out stubstrate was a tad stiff and required a bit more english on the turn to keep the ski doing the work. There is a lot of snow and the year to date is tipping the 400″ mark.
Mineral Basin opened and pulled a large portion of the Faithful over there to get a taste of the goods, leaving the Tram to offer walk on access. It was nice to have a rapid fire line that let me get more vertical access. Tomorrow, look for some clearing, which will be a welcome feature after today’s Zero Vis.. The Groomers will be offering amazing lines for the first of the day and there are still sections waiting in the wings that will be insane when they open.
