Today is day 2 of the current precipitation cycle that has left some snow above 9000′, with the snow predicted to drop to the Valley for Monday and Tuesday with substantial accumulation possible. I drove up to the Bird today to check it out finding hard rain at the Plaza and the snow level plainly visible. Alta’s base had snow sticking with a rain snow mix and a temp of 38 Degrees. Another storm is predicted for next Sunday giving this next stretch a very optimistic feeling. New snow making on the lower mountain has been installed to cover the consistently thin zones, giving the top to bottom coverage a real boost. That will really help reduce the rock dodging in those previously pesky areas. I will keep you posted as we get the goods, so stay tuned for updates as we get additional installments and move closer to opening. Get Ready!!! IBBY!!
