The Sun was bright and it was fun dialing in the lines that were happening on all sides of the hill. Mineral Basin was calling with the early lines softening, but it was going to take a bit for that softness to kick in. As anticipated, the Peruvian Gulch offered that cold dry pack that was living on the Northern aspects, with Anderson’s Hill and Lower Primrose Path offering top to bottom perfection with no Tram line. It was a vertical extravaganza. A bit later the Mineral Basin lines began to soften, making those lines come alive. The Twins was open for a brief window this morning, which gave you a wide variety of possibilities off of that approach.

Mike Biittner and his daughter Libby gaining the Little Superior peak with big plans for an epic tour.

Dave Moore, Mark Herath and friend also gaining The Twins with plans for an extended tour following the Sun. Tomorrow, look for more great Spring time sliding. There is plenty of cover wall to wall, and lots of options to keep in mind. I expect light traffic, smooth cruisin’, and still cold dry chalk on the Northern exposures. Keep your head on a swivel, as you never know how fast proximity can change. Watch Your SIX!!!
