An additional 8″ of uber light Essence was delivered to the hill, which was absolutely Blower and amazing for the strong showing by The Faithful. All the lines from yesterday had been filled, with only some faint reflections of yesterday’s tracks.
As anticipated, visibility was much better with good details and long range. Some clouds moved in and out all day, but it was good to go. Mineral Basin as well as The Road To Provo opened after a long accumulation, both which offered super deep lines that made you find the steepest aspects to keep the roll going. It was absolutely bottomless, which made getting back up a struggle if you got sucked in.
Tomorrow, look for the groomers to have been reworked with the addition of some new lines that will be prepared in the newly opened areas. Traffic was stout, but the opening of the new areas spread out the crowd and made the Tram open up nicely. There are plenty of deep pockets left to find with some exploration, and the rest of the pack is still soft and blastable. Temps are colder, so dress up a bit and protect the skin. Straight Ahead!!
